I have been a dedicated ELA educator with 25 years of experience at Eighth Street Middle School, excelling in mentoring students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades and focusing on a healthy, structured classroom environment where every single student feels safe and important. I possess many qualities of a middle school counselor such as empathy, the ability to listen without judgement, and an ability to help others work through tough situations. I have a true passion for helping middle school children with any counseling needs. I am also highly committed to working with other counselors and stake holders, parents, teachers, and strong collaboration among all of these.
