I come from a small rural town in central Missouri called Tuscumbia, with a population of less than 200 and a very tight-knit community. I pursued my artistic and athletic ambitions, and after graduation I attended Hannibal LaGrange University for two years on a basketball scholarship. I was studying illustration, but shifted my focus halfway through my degree to Art Education instead. With no proper Art Education program available at my institution, I decided to transfer to UCM going into my Junior year. I am now emerging into my senior year and am eagerly trying to get the best experience I can before entering the field.
