To whom it may concern,
I have loved working with Mrs. Yeates for the Past Month. She is open to collaboration and likes to be part of a team. She is willing to learn. She has observed several teachers in the school. She seems to connect quickly with the staff members and build their trust. She learned who the students were quickly and worked hard to build a rapport with them. The students seem to respect her, trust her, and learn from her. She works to find ways of moving what I want the students to learn forward, while putting her own twist on the lesson. She has figured out the balance between relationship building and keeping classroom order. Her lessons are well thought out. She is willing to insert her knowledge or take suggestions and give them mid lesson when we are team teaching. I also love how positive she is with me, pointing out things she likes about my teaching style, something I rarely hear, because there are usually only students to see how I teach.
I would highly recommend her as a teacher. She will be organized, precise, positive, and caring. Her lessons will be thought out, and she will use a variety of ways to catch a student’s attention. She cares about using data to drive her grading and teaching. She cares about each child’s accommodation and works hard to follow them. She also knows when to add accommodation for students that have not yet been identified by the system. She is good at keeping her work following state guides and adding an objective and why statement to each lesson. Basically, she follows “best” teaching practices. I can’t wait to see what a remarkable teacher she will be when she gets her own classroom.
