In my 9 years of guest teaching in two school districts I have grown a strong reputation of being a dependable, compassionate, and collaborative individual, not only with staff, but students and parents alike. I have proven to be a dynamic Substitute Teacher with a proven track record specifically within the Hesperia Unified School District. Most recently, I have long-termed for a teacher for half a school year and within that time was sole teacher in charge of 24 third-graders from assessments to organizing field trips to attending IEPs. I have excelled in classroom management and fostering student engagement. Skilled in differentiated instruction and behavior management, consistently achieving positive outcomes in challenging environments, and passionately striving to help all youth succeed to their utmost potential is what I have displayed repeatedly throughout my career thus far.
Over the years I have grown my list of families with whom I meet with during the summer months to tutor their child and discuss progress. Learning should not stop during the summer recess and in avoiding the "summer slide" it is important for me to facilitate learning in this way to help students continue to succeed.
