As the Community School Coordinator, I lead efforts to implement our school's community school strategy, focusing on data collection through needs assessments, empathy interviews, and asset mapping to identify student and family needs

• Established relationships with local service providers to offer comprehensive support for families in need.
• I collaborate with partners like the FRC network, Food for People, and Humboldt Independent Practice Association to bring resources such as mental health services, extracurricular activities, and student leadership initiatives to the school
• I coordinate school events like harvest parties, school dances, and field trips while providing referrals for mental health, housing, and food security resources
• I spearheaded the successful $1.2 million Community Schools Partnership Program (CCSPP) implementation grant under which I currently work
• I lead our school's participation in the Community Engagement Initiative (CEI), traveling with staff, students, and families to CEI events
• I am also an active member of our SEL team, AVID, and Compassionate Systems, and I hold certifications in MTSS, Character Strong, Restorative Practices, and grant writing.

• Provide counseling services to general education students and students with disabilities in individual and group settings
• Develop and implement behavioral support plans for students with and without IEPs.

• At Wild Souls Ranch, a non-profit therapeutic wraparound program specializing in equine therapy, I began my journey as a Volunteer Social Worker, conducting equine therapy-assisted sessions, providing case management, and performing home visits
• Maintained thorough documentation of all clinical interventions, ensuring accurate records for continuity of care and regulatory compliance.
• Enhanced patient care quality by developing and implementing comprehensive care plans for each individual.
• I later transitioned into a paid position as the Clinical Care Coordinator, where I spearheaded program development and design, transforming Wild Souls into a state-funded wraparound program utilizing foster/adoptive funding from the state
• In this role, I developed clinical supervision practices and trained volunteers and social workers, ensuring comprehensive wraparound services to our clients.

• Provide various services as outlined in a child or youth's Individual Education Plan or Mental Health Treatment Plan
• Demonstrated excellent time management skills, effectively prioritizing and completing tasks according to the needs of healthcare professionals and patients alike.

• Provide 1:1 behavioral interventions for children and youth in home, school, and community settings.

• Provide mental health services, including individual, group, and family counseling and crisis intervention, for children and families involved in or at risk of involvement in the Child Welfare System
• Collaborate across systems of care with other professionals and agencies to ensure that Bear River Bands' highest-needs children receive appropriate, effective, and culturally sensitive services
• Advocate on behalf of families involved in child welfare to ensure ICWA compliance.
