Class A over the road driver and independent business owner. Operated a 53 foot dry van large tractor-trailer, long distances across state lines; hauling various types of cargo requiring a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Legally drove such vehicles for long-haul, spending extended periods away from home traveling the country delivering goods. Managed day-to-day business operations. Operated with safety and skill to avoid accidents and delays. Maintained compliance with weight limits, safety regulations, and transportation laws through diligent record-keeping and inspections. Member of US Army's air defense artillery team provided the important task of operating and maintaining 3 of the US Army's surface-to-air advanced weapons system, which provided vital mobile, short-range air defense protection against cruise missiles and other threats. Reloaded and resupplied those weapon systems, and could use them to track, identify, and destroy enemy threats.
