- As Engineer in Charge; my main responsibilities laid in the technical support of the shift-based FSE’s providing in-depth knowledge of the systems and liaisons with our Japanese support network
- However, I was also in charge of TSM (Total Spares Management) including organisation of shipping, quotes, stock reports and direct contact with our spares company in Germany to ensure smooth spares activities are visible to the customer
- All maintenance activity reporting (availability, mean time between failure and fault improvement reports) were be compiled and presented monthly by me to the customer
- Leadership and organisation of task forces, developing and communicating detailed plans of action which can be seen through to completion by the shifts
- Reporting results directly to customer Engineering and Management.

- The role required good mechanical, electrical & electronic knowledge and PLC programming skills, with appreciation for a pressurized system containing potentially dangerous chemicals.
