  • 5 Years in Technical Support Engineer Role - Still serving as FE role, but added support function for on-the-job training and remote support of other engineers. Being point of contact for all escalations on systems in my region, liaising with Engineering support teams in USA, Israel and Sweden to find solution for Customer Issues.
  • 2 Years in Product Service Leader (PSL) role - Managing the MRI, Molecular Imaging and CT team for Ireland, handling 8 Direct Reports. Hiring 3 new FE roles during this time.   • One and a half years as a shift-based FSE, responsibilities including the upkeep of FC3000 acid etch wet-stations, I was promoted to the day-shift role of Engineer in Charge
  • As Engineer in Charge; my main responsibilities laid in the technical support of the shift-based FSE’s providing in-depth knowledge of the systems and liaisons with our Japanese support network
  • However, I was also in charge of TSM (Total Spares Management) including organisation of shipping, quotes, stock reports and direct contact with our spares company in Germany to ensure smooth spares activities are visible to the customer
  • All maintenance activity reporting (availability, mean time between failure and fault improvement reports) were be compiled and presented monthly by me to the customer
  • Leadership and organisation of task forces, developing and communicating detailed plans of action which can be seen through to completion by the shifts
  • Reporting results directly to customer Engineering and Management.

  • In this role, I solely was responsible for running a water treatment pilot skid, to a pre-planned schedule
  • This involved periodic and breakdown maintenance, which was vital to the uptime of the system
  • Other responsibilities were spares acquisition and logistics for the skid and its’ peripherals and data acquisition and collation for presentation to the customer
  • The role required good mechanical, electrical & electronic knowledge and PLC programming skills, with appreciation for a pressurized system containing potentially dangerous chemicals.
