Global Health Documentary Project, ODS & PAHS — Student and Filmmaker (JUNE 2026 - PRESENT)

Produced documentary with South Africa’s Human Rights Media Centre to highlight enduring health consequences of 1986 forced removals. Organized and facilitated truth-telling ceremony for 15 victims of forced removals to share lived experiences, fostering community healing and awareness. Conducted community interviews and translated oral histories to preserve narratives and inform documentary content.

The Effect of the 2023 War in Sudan on the Incidence of Malaria, Yale University — Student Researcher (APRIL 2026 - MAY 2026)

Conducted a 2,000-word literature review examining the impact of armed conflict on malaria transmission, healthcare infrastructure, and disease control efforts in Sudan.

Analyzed and presented research on how enhanced pain signals in mild brain injuries worsen pain; dissected and discussed neuroscience literature,

Worked with high school students from 150+ countries at a selective summer program at Yale University to discuss and find solutions for medical inequality around the globe through lectures by Yale professors, discussions, and a capstone project.

Leadership Workshop, ODS & PAHS — Staffer and Counselor (NOVEMBER 2022-PRESENT)

Worked with 20 other staffers to plan and execute ODS MS Leadership Workshop and PAHS’s Leadership Workshop–a 3-day long event where around 150 delegates are taught about leadership through interactive activities. Spent 500+ hours planning and executing.

Founded a presentation series to educate students of color on academic opportunities; built a 20-person team; developed curriculum with principals and students.
