Using the arts of filmmaking to visually convey a story and become representation for black young girls and women in the industry. As well as with my upcoming background in filmmaking my whole goal is to show a black women story through a black women lens. Proven success in directing and editing films that have received feedback and festival recognition. Possessing compelling stories ready for the Industry and learning how better producing, direct and create visually stunning films, while consistently meeting deadlines and budget constraints. Collaborative team player with focus on achieving results and adapting to evolving project needs.

  • Students get a crash course in filmmaking designed to engage their critical thinking, community engagement, research, and storytelling skills.
  • With several hours a day of hands-on training in professional film equipment, editing programs, production techniques, and interview techniques.
  • Having the opportunity to created two documentaries which were a 5 minute How-To-Be-Stress Free film and a 'Men What Be Wrong' film. Students took part in various roles such as director, cinematographer, interviewer, production assistant and editor.
  • Managed equipment logistics and maintenance, optimizing resource allocation for various filming locations and schedules.
  • Directed film projects from concept development to post-production, ensuring artistic vision and project goals aligned.
  • Conducted comprehensive research for documentary projects, gathering relevant data to inform scriptwriting and content accuracy.
  • To conclude the program students got to learn the ways of putting together a screening.

  • Part taking in various roles such as principal, supporting and background work for world wide commercials and special dance projects for international choreographers. One is affiliated with Lincoln center in NYC. As well as been book roles for multiple movies, tv series, and commercials; such as The Missing, Let The Right One In, Broadway Play Hamilton, and etc.

  • Interns also gained behind-the-scenes access to one of the country's oldest performing arts venues, attended weekly workshops and events, grew skill in peer and professional network and engaged with BAM professional staff.
  • Assisted in organizing and executing events, ensuring seamless operations and attendee satisfaction.
