Charge Nurse

• Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Surgery Department. Ensures the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care, and leads the team of nurses and support staff.
• Acting as the primary liaison between surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals. Provide leadership and ensure effective delegation of tasks while managing a positive, collaborative working environment.
• Ensures proper patient assessment and preparation while collaborating with the surgical team to facilitate smooth and efficient procedures, managing safety, and patient comfort.

Circulating Nurse

• Experience serving as a circulator in a dynamic surgical environment. Performs initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessments, as applicable.
• Completes outcome planning, and documents planned nursing interventions to achieve outcomes appropriate to patient needs.
• Expertise in providing safe patient care, completing surgical prep, safe positioning, and advocating for patient needs when necessary.
• Assists with the intubation of patients while problem-solving and providing support for anesthesia staff as needed.

• Provide attentive care for two children.
• Provide transportation to school and extracurricular activities.
• Maintain open communication with parents.
• Support children's routines, demonstrate strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Foster a positive and caring relationship with the children, ensuring they feel comfortable and safe.
