  • As a 4th grade teacher and team lead my role is very diverse
  • The daily deliverables of classroom teacher range from direct instruction of Common Core Standards, data analysis, modification/accommodation of student materials and high expectations and 100% engagement of all students
  • My role as Team Lead allows me to be in classrooms observing for, and coaching on, Instructional Foundations and Mastery Practices
  • This opportunity allows me to have a 4th grade team that is aligned in its instructional practices which ultimately drives student success
  • I was the school Culture Lead in 2020 where I supported the school in developing classroom culture both in-person and remotely
  • In 2021 I held the position of 3-5 Math Instructional Lead and supported 3-5 teachers on Instructional Foundations, mastery practices and DEI in math
