• Manage and monitor up to 3 patients at a time in the immediate postoperative recovery by continuously checking vital signs, pain, and consciousness post-anesthesia.

• Serve as charge RN on 16 bed ICU unit and delegate tasks and manage staffing accordingly.

• Administered nursing care to up to 6 cardiac patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic, or emergent treatments/procedures.
• Fulfilled charge nurse role covering 18 bed unit while analyzing telemetry monitors.

• Interview patients, obtained vital signs and reported findings to nursing staff.
• Performed phlebotomy, specimen collections, and assisted with ADLs.

• Worked with RN preceptors in Pre-op, Operating Room, and Post anesthesia care unit.
• Observed surgical procedures in all specialties.
• Performed tasks delegated by nurse preceptor circulating nurse.
