Accomplishments

  • I have created and Independent Living program from the ground up. This program is allowing children and young adults who have aged out of foster care or placement to keep stable housing while they get help from a case worker navigating the real world. This program includes a personal bedroom with a shared common space, the boy and girls were seperated and it went really well. The residents were expected in partaking in all of the independent living classes, get help with applying for benefits and getting a job. I am proud to say this program is thriving and has helped over 20 children get on their feet!
