Assisted my fellow CNA's and RN's with removing patient trays, documenting their intake and output, preparing them for bed, obtaining vital signs and performing nightly and early-morning ADL's

• I also helped prepare rooms for new admits and communicate patient needs out of my scope to the RN
• I also helped patients prepare for surgery and after I help obtain post-op vital signs

• I assisted with anywhere from 8-30 patients per shift, with ADL's and also obtained their blood sugars and vital signs per routine protocol
• I coordinated with PT/OT to determine the best time for transfers and showers and communicated with the nurses when patients preferred clustered care or if there were any changes in their condition
• I assisted with post-op care and education and I strived to make my patients feel comfortable and well taken care of

• I assisted my coworkers in making sure our residents were up, dressed, toileted and prepared for the day ahead of them
• Including personal hygiene cares, attending and consuming meals, and attending activities and events as desired
• I strived for excellent patient care and going above and beyond for all of the residents I care for

• As a summer job, I assisted the daycare owner in stocking, preparing and feeding meals, diaper changes, activities and nap time routines
• Employment here helped me develop care skills for a younger group and develop communication skills with their parents and families
