Equipment Management:

• Ensure that all surgical equipment is functioning properly before and during the procedure.
• Troubleshoot and address any equipment issues that arise during surgery.
  

Post-Surgical:

• Assist in transferring the patient to the recovery area safely.
• Ensure that all surgical instruments and sponges are accounted for and that counts are correct.
  

Collaboration:

• Communicate effectively with the surgical team, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care and improve practices.
  

Emergency Response:

• Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies or complications during surgery.
• Be familiar with emergency protocols and equipment.
