This job was entry level, but has taught me much more than I ever thought possible. I am tasked daily with early hours and the occasional overtime, working from 4-5 AM to 2:30 PM and always working on my feet. I am held responsible for assembling many structurally sound pieces that go toward putting up buildings, like apartments and office spaces. This means a lot of peoples’ peace of mind is put on my plate which comes with a lot of responsibility. I have learned how to think quick, and be an excellent problem solver. I have had to help customers, work with leadership and determination, and be a good team player when it comes to teamwork.

This was my first job as a teenager. I was tasked with keeping a clean and cohesive work environment along with scrubbing dishes at all times of the day at a busy restaurant. Although I spent most of the time in the back of the restaurant, I was also responsible for helping customers and wait-staff in a calm, collected, and responsible manner.
