This change eliminated delay in receipt of pharmaceuticals from 24-hour to 6-hour so that Patients never again missed prescribed dosages, thus adding to improved quality care delivered and patient safety in administration of prescriptions.
Changed ASD Facility's $100,000.00 deficit budget to $149,916.00 surplus budget from October to December 2010 by maintaining appropriate staffing levels, using smart acquisition and procurement procedures, laboratory cost controls and application of cost savvy par level inventory measures; amongst others.
As part of operational research study backed by data analytics, a corrective action plan, CAP for short, followed quality performance improvements under supervised team of implementers of one quality process research study and one quality outcome research study every 6 months for 5 years at 9 facilities using quantitative and qualitative methodologies and innovation retrieved from a database technology to support operational effectiveness.
These were managed operational researched studies gathered from diverse sources that optimized quality, safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in healthcare system as part of overall continuous health quality improvement program as defined by accreditation standards and contractual obligations with the City of Philadelphia for which re-accreditation and contracts were renewed.
