  • I get Beth up in the mornings, give her her medicine, give her a bath, and fix breakfast
  • I also change her if she soils herself as well as making sure that she is clean before putting clean briefs on
  • If Beth has a doctor’s appointment on my shift, I escort her to the doctor
  • Each caretaker is responsible for documenting events as they occur in the communal binder
  • Since Beth is a diabetic, I help her with taking her blood sugar
  • Beth is a sweet older lady that every morning still puts on her lipstick, puts on and brushes her wig, wears a pantsuit every day, and puts 15 squirts of perfume on every morning
  • She is a pleasure and joy to help and she has helped me more than I have helped her
  • She has taught me, by modeling, how to advocate for myself; she will tell a person if she does or doesn't want something done to her or her home
  • Beth is a delight to work for and I will miss her.
