Accomplishments

  • Named "Educator of the Week" at Cedar Grove Elementary in August 2025.
  • Lesson Implementation - Met all assigned learning goals through the implementation of hands-on learning, visual aids, and storytelling.
  • Led class to an average 85% increase in math and an average 100% increase in reading standardized test scores during the 2024-2025 school year.
  • Received commendation from Cedar Grove principals (6 different ones) for successfully working with students with behavior problems.
  • Targeted Development - Met with parents and guardians to discuss children's progress and to determine priorities and resource needs.
  • Student Progress Conferences - Conducted conferences with parents, administrators, testing specialists and social workers to discuss educational plans designed to promote students' educational/social development.
  • ESL Literacy - Increased ESL students' reading levels by integrating online word games and altering lesson plans for students needing extra guidance.
