Strategic Global Payroll Leader | Team Builder | Systems Transformation Expert
Seasoned payroll executive with over two decades of experience driving payroll excellence, cross-functional collaboration, and operational clarity in global organizations. Trusted to lead through change, build high-performing teams, and deliver systems integration across complex multi-country environments. Known for bringing direction to disjointed functions and turning payroll into a strategic business driver.
Joining ModSquad meant stepping into a fast-moving, fully remote global environment where culture, communication, and digital execution had to run in perfect sync. The business was scaling rapidly across the US, UK, and LATAM markets, and I was tasked with bringing clarity and structure to a payroll operation serving 4,000+ people—across countries, currencies, and compliance regimes.
I was promoted to Director within 8 months, not because I had all the answers—but because I brought direction, accountability, and vision to a function that needed alignment with the business's global growth agenda. I inherited a team needing clarity and support and focused on team development, clear role ownership, and elevating the department's influence across the company.
Vora was a values-driven, multi-entity organization where complexity was the norm and systems didn't speak to each other. I walked into a fragmented payroll and finance function—and made it my mission to rebuild structure, transparency, and cross-functional trust.
From system migration to compliance frameworks, I aligned people and processes to reduce delays, recapture costs, and deliver confidence in our payroll data. The transformation impacted not just payroll, but the business's ability to plan, forecast, and make decisions.
I joined at a time of financial disorganization across five operating entities, where disconnected systems and inconsistent reporting were eroding leadership's confidence. My role was to bring everything together—to centralize, streamline, and reduce friction across the finance ecosystem.
I focused on smart cost savings, better vendor relationships, and stronger internal controls—all while being a stabilizing force during a phase of operational tension.
In a fast-paced, customer-facing automotive services business, I was responsible for ensuring accurate financial data and effective payroll processes—despite high volumes and shifting priorities. My work improved operational cash flow, streamlined vendor relations, and created a more predictable reporting cadence.
I was known as the person who could “make the numbers make sense”—and ensure the right people got paid, on time, every time.
This was the role that made me. I began as an individual contributor and was promoted into leadership, overseeing payroll for 5,000+ employees, across multiple cycles, regions, and bonus structures. My growth here was forged in crisis, transformation, and trust.
From recovering $4.7M in receivables for Coca-Cola to running manual payroll for 600 employees during a full system outage, I proved—again and again—that payroll isn't just about numbers. It's about people, credibility, and protecting the heartbeat of the business.
