• Parker Drilling/Parker Wellbore, Strategic Global Account Management (Nov 2020 -April 2023) Executive strategic director for Schlumberger, Halliburton, Baker Hughes, Oxy New Ventures (CCUS), Shell, and Chevron, targeting traditional oil/gas drilling & pressure control (high-pressure gas fields), cementing, case, complete projects, and CCUS and Geothermal projects globally. In house expert in Energy Transition projects, establishing company's first sustainability report and strategic and tactical GHG projects globally. Won company’s most profitable exploration and production contract for Chevron Bangladesh in harsh high-pressure environment in first nine months of employment, TCV $63 million. Successfully increased budgeted revenue +20% by managing accounts and upselling. Brought three additional strategic partnerships online with major independent Geothermal companies. Added $1.2 billion to pipeline.
• Crosby Energy, Production, Major Capital Projects, O&M (Nov. 2019 - current)- Chief Strategic Advisor to CFO and VP Operations for 700 O&M crews supporting major capital projects through advanced strategic account plans, metrics, and solutions documents returning $68 million in revenue to company in 6 months. Drafted new employee handbooks, QHSE and driving policies, developed pandemic plans and financial support criteria during COVID-19 response, ensuring contingent workforce remained paid at height of the pandemic with zero downtime.
• Transocean, Offshore Drilling Projects (Dec. 2018 – Oct. 2019)- Commercial Contracts & Bidding Advisor for the Americas responsible for all ITT development, contract drafting & execution, pricing assurances, mid-term reviews, insurance validations, regulatory compliance, QHSE, technical and scope assurances. Closed integrated project services contract for 3+1+1 term Canada and a 2+1 term Gulf of Mexico, TCV $250 million.
• Hess Legal, Supply Chain and Major Capital Projects (Jan. 2014–Oct. 2015)- Capital projects and contracts advisor to Supply Chain, Upstream & Midstream teams. Proposed, negotiated, and closed 60 critical supplier agreements including all EPC contracts for upstream gas facilities and land/offshore assets in less than eight weeks that remained in the queue for 24 months prior to my engagement, TCV $1.2 billion. Drafted and closed Hess’s first Midstream Infrastructure & Operations projects agreements and implemented Terminal Rail Operations Agreement- negotiated and closed all project agreements and engineering agreements to accompany project in less than 30 days, TCV $100 million. 72 months after contracts closed – this project generated $3 billion in revenue recognition for Hess.
Designed, Negotiated and closed strategic account plans, and global model framework contracts for D&M (pressure control), Wells Services, E-line, Completions scopes of work, technical and commercial agreements; ensuring operations schedules are met globally and a quality response for all bids and opportunities is issued to client within budget/AFE. Account Management and lifecycle responsibilities include designing partnership solutions and delivering global success stories at supplier forums, managing mid-term contract reviews, service quality reviews, ensuring KPIs are being met against work scope and project deliverables; managing burn rates and milestone terms for DDRs; negotiating global pricing amendments pursuant to contracts commercial and risks standards. Managed accounts, activity, operations and contract reviews for 30 countries of operations and $15 billion in revenues. Reported to VP Global Account Director.
• Honored by CEO and ranked outstanding performer for country level support and building the companies first global model framework agreement for all major product and service lines, TCV $5 billion. Recognized for outstanding global account support to BP gaining 70% global market share.
• Proactively settled client account disputes resulting in $50 million in revenue recognition: withholding tax disputes, outstanding audit claims, contract disputes, and invoice disputes that had been outstanding for over 12-24 months prior to my engagement.
• Developed advanced commercial and negotiations certification course for Schlumberger’s Sales and Account Management School that is still utilized today within the LMS system.
Maximized portfolio growth through generating new business and managing existing projects, contracts, and relationships with IOCs and NOCs. Customer lead - providing efficient and timely account management services for Tullow Oil Plc; Identified risks and liabilities inherent in tenders, proposals and contracts; negotiated and closed all project plans and master services agreements. Reported to SVP Business Development and Contracts.
• Managed the commencement of operations for landlocked exploration project in Lake Albert, Uganda. Started new branch of Nabors, resolved dual interpretation of tax code and created oil and gas taxation with client and local officials; created and managed rig start-up projects, security and logistics plans, expat/tcn/local employee requirements and work permits, and QHSE plans with country officials.
• Increased market share by +20% through securing new business in Eastern Europe, Russia, Africa and Middle East.
