  • They are monitored hourly, vital signs are checked, neurological checks are performed, IV assessments are performed, and IVs are placed.
  • I monitor my IV pumps, program them properly, start new medications or drips, check my lines, and tip drips per order.
  • I have great multitasking skills and can work well under pressure in my environment and can lead staff well.
  • This job and my role as a pediatric nurse have helped grow my critical thinking skills, communication skills, education skills, and confidence in helping the sick pediatric population.
