Accomplished in leadership and team collaboration, I excel in driving results and fostering development, as evidenced in my tenure at Progressive. Skilled in coaching and file management, I've significantly contributed to team growth and operational efficiency, embodying a proactive approach to challenges and achievements.
I am a seasoned leader with a strong background in the insurance industry, starting as a representative with the Central Loss Reporting Unit and quickly moving over to Blended (Glass & CLRU) then to Glass Callout and have spent the last several years in different roles in the Centralized Claims Unit (CCU).
I have consistently demonstrated my leadership abilities and commitment to fostering team growth and development throughout my career.
As a peer mentor and DRG Assist representative in the CCU, I provided guidance and support to my colleagues, contributing to a collaborative work environment. Due to my exceptional performance, I was promoted to be an Onboarding Academy Coach where I demonstrated the ability to coach and develop both newly hired representatives and supervisors as they transitioned from training or their prior positions to be a successful part of the West Zone CCU organization.
Once my rotation was complete as an Onboarding Coach, I moved over to the Redistribution of Inventory Team (RIT) specialty department, where I assumed the role of a Team Lead. In this capacity, I managed PTO coverage for CCU representatives and effectively handled the redistribution of claim inventory across the CCU West Zone. Additionally, I was pivotal in facilitating F.Y.E. (First Year Experience) training for new hires, ensuring their seamless integration into the organization.
I served as a Team Lead for the Re-Distributed team of claims representatives within the R.I.T. department. I successfully supervised the daily inventory that needed to be assigned, managed a strategy for re-distributing inventory to the group, and provided coaching and development opportunities for RIT new hires.
As an active participant in the Culture Team for F.Y.E., I actively contributed to creating a positive and inclusive work environment promoting the core values and culture within the
company. I also oversaw and managed DNM (Do Not Meet) claims that required intervention and effectively mitigated escalations on aged inventory. To broaden my claims knowledge and experience, I joined PCS as a Claim Generalist in the DFW region. Due to my performance results, proven leadership, and expertise track record, I was selected by the Lewisville Manager to assist our branch as an onboarding coach and mentor, providing guidance and support to new hires navigating their organizational roles.
My career progression highlights my ability to drive results, foster team development, and adapt to new challenges and responsibilities. I bring experience in coaching and
developing people, performance improvement, and creating a positive team culture.
