Dedicated, hard-working nurse with a passion for the pediatric population. I'm excited to be in a school setting and develop relationships with school staff, students, and their families. I'm committed to learning new skill sets that are found in the different school environments. I also look forward to the challenge that COVID-19 is currently having on the MSDLT school system.

Work History
RN, Staff Nurse
Community Health Network
02.2021 - Current
Worked in the Community North COVID-19 vaccine clinic. Mixed, drew up and administered Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson vaccines. Determined whether patients met FDA, CDC and Indiana State Board of Health's criteria. After obtaining consent, administered all three manufacturers of COVID-19 vaccine via IM injection, modifying technique based on patient size and age using appropriate needle length and gauge. Monitored all patient responses for minimum of 15 minutes after administration; looking specifically for signs of anaphylaxis. Advised patients of potential side effects, methods to resolve side effects and reasons to notify a physician. Documented all medications in state website, Zotec.
Clinic site was at one time within Community North Hospital then a drive through approach, followed by collaboration with a family practice office until closing on 12/23/2021. The clinic still utilizes a mobile approach; having set up clinics in places of business, community parks, universities/colleges and school district offices.
To date, the Community COVID-19 vaccine clinics have successfully vaccinated 500K patients ages 5 and up. This number includes first doses, second doses, third doses and boosters of all three manufacturers.
