Supervision and Teaching Interests

I have spent the bulk of my career applying what I learned at UT School of Social Work to the various systems that I have worked and volunteered in. In each role that I have been hired into, I have focused my knowledge and growth on the principles of social work and the tenants of child development and play therapy. The positions that I have held have honed my skills and perspective, allowing me to operate through a trauma informed lens and consistently broaden my cultural awareness. Through the years I have engaged in trainings, consultation and supervision in order develop my professional self. I greatly enjoy being able to now provide those services back to caregivers, interns and clinical supervisees. The theories that I  base my approach in are the Person Centered Approach and the Developmental Model of Supervision. I believe that my career path has led me to this opportunity as I have a passion for this work and helping others navigate their way into it.
