Accomplishments

    December 2011 – December 2012

    I was the block captain for my neighborhood. I founded the Arrowhead Playgroup to accommodate stay-at-home moms and children in our area. I organized and put on the neighborhood holiday parades and gatherings. I organized the first ever National Night Out for the neighborhood. I scheduled the Deputy Police Chief, NNO coordinator, District 9 council woman, police officers, members of the fire department, and gathered documents and handouts on community crimes, vehicle burglary, child abuse, drug prevention and facilitated many guest appearances.

    I served as head of the communications committee and supervised a team of volunteers. We prepared monthly newsletters and online posts. I worked closely with local government officials regarding development and plans to keep our community up to date. I served as the liaison between the HOA and community residents. I unilaterally coordinated political forums conducted at the clubhouse and invited citizens from the community and city to attend.
