Being a shift lead has taught me many things including how to run a shift, to help team members, to always leave the guests satisfied, to make sure co-workers are satisfied with their current shifts, and to always keep the team functioning. It has helped both my leadership and teamwork skills grow and it will continue to do so.
Taught the basics of food handling skills here. This class has given me the ability to learn about an interesting career path. I am CTE (ServSafe) certified meaning I am able to work in companies that offer cooking and food services.
Greeting guests as they entered the building and wishing them a blessed day/afternoon/evening as they left. I was able to build strong connections with co-workers and give guests a good time. There were tasks such as cleaning, stocking, and packing food that I had to complete on a day to day basis. Communication was the strongest part of this job as the entire team had to communicate in and outside of working hours in order to make sure current shifts as well as future shifts would be ran correctly.
