I taught intervention courses and advanced/accelerated courses for 2 hours each day, and I have 8 years of Summer School teaching experience, where I developed my own curriculum about the history of superheroes and credit recovery courses.

  • I started out working in the box office, selling tickets, making reservations, and coordinating with caterers.
  • I was promoted to one of two positions as the front-of-house manager. My job included recruiting and training new employees in ticket sales, gift shop sales, concession sales, and managing and scheduling each department.
  • One of my main responsibilities was booking events in our 1,200-seat conference/theater center, which would include weddings, seasonal shows, religious events, etc. In which I would work hand in hand as the event coordinator, addressing all the needs of the group: food services and catering, organizing sound, lights, and staging, assisting with locating accommodations at local resorts or motels/hotels, arranging special deals for groups to attend shows, negotiating costs and billing, along with a slew of additional responsibilities.
  • The company was owned by a Chinese conglomerate out of Beijing and required many social and cultural nuances to be addressed for good communication.
