  • Champion Affordable Housing: Engage and sustain a network of 5,000 members and partners to move the needle on advancing affordable housing.

  • Work Culture: Promote equity, inclusion, and wellness to ensure staff are supported.
  • Organizational Development: Identify and address emerging challenges and opportunities impacting the organization.

  • Fiscal Responsibility : Oversee a $4 million annual operating budget, including monthly reporting to the Board of Directors on our financial position and projected growth.

Ending Homelessness Director/Technical Advisor

With a firm belief that communities can effectively and humanely addressed the unhoused crisis, I assisted communities in designing and implementing tailored solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provided training, technical assistance, and consulting to support communities in developing a robust and effective housing crisis response system in 27 Continuums of Care.
  • Served as a HUD Technical Assistance Provider for Continuums of Care throughout the United States to provide guidance on maximizing and leveraging HUD resources, including CoC Program and ESG funding.
  • Developed curriculum tailored for frontline staff working with households experiencing homelessness.


Success Highlights:

  • Developed and published the first Case Management training series and guidebook specific to case managers working with households experiencing homelessness. This curriculum and training has empowered thousands of case managers.
  • Coordinated efforts during the pandemic to help communities quickly understand new federal guidance and implement ESG-CV programs to ensure rapid entry to shelter and rapid exit to housing.

Housing Care Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborated with a care coordination team to implement the first state-mandated housing care coordination for high utilizers of behavioral health services to improve health outcomes.
  • Coordinated with 23 counties and over 30 providers in Northeast Florida to ensure mental health and substance use providers were connecting their clients to appropriate housing resources.
  • Bridged the gap between homeless services providers and mental health/substance use providers by increasing communication and LSF's footprint in the community.


Success Highlights:

  • Within a matter of months, several households with high acuity and utilization rates were housed with this housing care coordination initiative, saving the state thousands of dollars per household.
  • Implemented a pilot program to offer housing vouchers to assist patients from the state psychiatric hospital to community living. This resulted in ensuring people received the care they needed in the least restrictive setting.
