• Currently Career Exploration Teacher, CTE department with Mesa Public Schools - created push in model to execute district curriculum for 1,000 9th graders, using YOUSCIENCE, planned school wide Career Fair event with 70 community partners and serving 1,500 students.
• Middle & High School Health & Wellness teacher with WSST Phoenix - 6 years experience teaching Physical education and Skills based Health curriculums.
• Collaboratively developed teacher trainings and restorative behavior plans for students & families as Dean of Students, BASIS Scottsdale
• Developed community plans to address truancy, as part of the Worcester Education Stability Committee (WPS & DCF); created flyers and organized community outreach activities.
• Led committee of community providers and educators Canterbury Street elementary school by creating a robust plan for more fluid communication and connection with schools, parents, mobile crisis and Worcester Police Dept.
• Created treatment plans with model fidelity; trained in CPS (Collaborative Problem Solving) evidence- based model - tier 3.
• Utilize MIND UP curriculum, which promotes brain-focused strategies for mindful learning and living.
• Conducted in-home visits with family intervention specialists, and carefully observed them interacting and advocating for 'family voice and choice'.
• Promoted intensive in-home services with local DCF offices for emotionally and behaviorally challenged children.
• Taught swimming for kids aged 2 to 14 years, as a state lifeguard.
