Independent Nanny eager to create nurturing and growing environments for the little humans I take care of. I am passionate about working with parental figures to best aid their children to success. I enjoy collaborating with families to be the best asset I can, adapting their parenting styles, and allowing each other to learn from one another.
In the Markey Household, I cared for two children ages: 2 months and 2 years old.
Working in the James Household I cared for three children ages: 2, 3, and 7. I worked full-time for this family over the summer and then two days a week when school started.
I became a Swim Instructor after working as a camp counselor because I realized many children were discouraged they could not pass the camp swim test. My goal was to allow the children to gain confidence in the pool along with learning how to do so safely.
Due to the pandemic lifestyles had to quickly change and this allowed me to advance my babysitting career to a nannying career, taking care of three children five days a week; ages 1, 5, and 6. This job showed me how to multitask, become very good at quick problem-solving, always be on my toes, balance school with work, and so much more. Before taking on this task I wanted the family to be completely comfortable leaving their young children with me for such a long duration of time and got CPR and babysitting certified.
Even before nannying I have been a dedicated babysitter for several years.
The Essex County Dare Camp is a camp that teaches the youth the importance of safety, drug awareness, anti-bullying, and aims to build a connection with law enforcement. I got the opportunity to be a camp counselor for this program and got to enhance my caretaker abilities, going on many field trips taught me how to be able to keep my eyes on a large group of children at a time. I also learned how to work with many different types of colleagues with many different personalities and backgrounds.
