  • Review all admissions and discharges into the NICU for eligibility into the CPQCC NICU, CPeTS, & High-Risk Infant Follow-Up (HRIF) Databases.
  • Responsible for data extraction and input both internally and externally to CPQCC with strict adherence to the established definitions for data collection outlined by CPQCC and California Children's Services (CCS).
  • Ensure high-quality and timely data submission under established CPQCC guidelines & CCS regulations.
  • Assist interdisciplinary team members with access to CPQCC data to support quality improvement projects in the Department of Women’s and Children’s Services at John Muir.
  • Worked with ITS to develop reports within EPIC to improve data collection and assist with electronic data submission. Created an internal database to meet new CCS mandates in collecting and submitting data on all NICU admissions.
  • Cross-trained to HRIF Nurse Coordinator role to assist with clinic coverage.
  • Served as Interim NICU Quality Nurse Practice Council Representative
