From the end of 2015 to the end of 2016, I worked for a percentage of net profit as a business partner at Bridgewater Farm. They are a family owned USDA certified organic farm that grew over forty varieties of vegetables and fruits, along with raising cattle, hogs, and chickens.

Responsibilities

  • General labor ranging from crop plotting, seeding, crop management, harvesting, cleaning, and packaging
  • Participating heavily in marketing - including social media marketing, setting up and vending at two different farm stands, organization and event planning, creating and sourcing packaged products for grocery stores including design of packaging labels, filing of USDA certification paperwork, building farm structures; assisted in budgeting, and delivered to over ten different grocery stores in a timely fashion.

Overview
