I accepted this position upon request of store leadership, who was in need of a leader to correct policy violations, develop a culture in line with Whole Food’s core values, and deliver results meeting several regional and global metrics

Some accomplishments from the past year

• Developed a vision in line with store and regional goals, and created a clear path to achieve those goals.
• Increased store’s E-commerce sales by $5,000 - $8,000
• Gained 1st and 2nd place in the region for percent of sales for Whole Planet and Whole Kids fundraising campaigns.
• Hiring and developing leadership team of 5 Team Members (1 ATL and 4 Supervisors)
• Taught and delegated tasks to be completed on a regular basis by the leadership team. Defined clear roles and expectations for all 35 TMs on the team
• Trained and developed other Team Leaders, and consistently outperformed peers.

Responsibilities

• Timely ordering the entire center store, ahead of deadlines.
• I maintained professional relationships with over 10 different vendors
• I managed inventory and spoilage levels and kept both within the expected budget range
• Other responsibilities included display building, keeping up with food safety protocols, managing a team of 10 Team Members, training and development, management of team efficiency, breaking down truck pallets and running product to shelves, set out sampling, driving local sales, and management of purchase orders and credits
• Acted as an Associate Team Leader.
• Assisted with writing action plans, hiring, training and development of team members.

Overview

• I was given the opportunity to learn and work in many aspects of production as I could in this position, and took full advantage of it - advancing from a basic stage hand, to a well rounded, versatile, and reliable team member.

Responsibilities

• Traveling at a moments notice to various locations between Montana, Idaho, and Utah to design and operate light shows to include the use of Chamsys
• Assisted in design and build of stages, set up LED screens, equipment inventory, packing trucks, delivering equipment.
• Professionally fulfilling requirements and requests of the production crews of several touring acts.
• Operated video cameras to project live feed to the LED screens

Overview

From the end of 2015 to the end of 2016, I worked for a percentage of net profit as a business partner at Bridgewater Farm. They are a family owned USDA certified organic farm that grew over forty varieties of vegetables and fruits, along with raising cattle, hogs, and chickens.

Responsibilities

• General labor ranging from crop plotting, seeding, crop management, harvesting, cleaning, and packaging
• Participating heavily in marketing - including social media marketing, setting up and vending at two different farm stands, organization and event planning, creating and sourcing packaged products for grocery stores including design of packaging labels, filing of USDA certification paperwork, building farm structures; assisted in budgeting, and delivered to over ten different grocery stores in a timely fashion.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring accurate scheduling within labor budget.
• Ordering five trucks a week to meet food supply and demands.
• Establishing throughput and efficiency of our team.
• Organization and delivery of catering orders.
• Managing store opening and closings.
• Managing employee Hiring and Separation.
• Performing training and pipeline development, as well as corrective action for employees.

Overview

During my time in these positions, I gained valuable experience in learning to care for many different types of people with various medical needs. This position gave me the opportunity to work in Nursing Homes, TBI Units, On-Call for Emergency Rooms, In-Home Care, and with the state.

This was one of my favorite roles, as it helped shape my current perspective of how I perceive others. Through it, I better learned how to express patience and compassion in the face of adversity.

• Assisting the nursing teams in personal and medical care for many different clients
• Documenting and protecting personal and private information for clients and patients.
• During my time in these positions, I learned the foundations of HIPAA, and the importance of adhering to the communication of only relevant, pertinent patient sensitive information.
