I wish to provide all students with access to an equitable education. Literacy is a currency that all should have access too. I feel an endless amount of opportunities open up to students through education. I want to give students the necessary tools to succeed in the global community. I am a life long learner; who rose out of poverty. I would like to help others along the way.

Teaching Interest

Demonstration English Language Arts Teacher. I love to read and write. I was lucky enough to have some really great teachers that sparked my passion for the subject. It would mean the world to me if I could do this for other students and teachers alike.

Experience - Working With Children

I have student taught for 16 weeks and enjoyed it thoroughly. I am the eldest of four. Through my adolescence I babysat my siblings as well as my younger cousins. I have a 9 year old daughter that I care for. I have also done volunteer work several times a year at her school since kindergarten.
