COMMUNICATION

While working at both Dental Offices, I was able to work in a few positions. I feel this gave me a well-rounded set of skills. While working front desk I learned time management for each procedure. This skill is crucial to making appointments for the right time, giving the patient the best experience as well as the Dr enough time to complete procedures in a timely manner. I also learned Dentrix software and billing to insurance. Private and EOCCO. I have knowledge as the safety coordinator. I am up to date on our HIPPA, Sterilization, and SDS books. I felt this gave me knowledge to keep the office in compliance, as well as, keep our office staff safe. Working very closely with a few other assistants, I built great communication skills, leadership skills, and teamwork. These are key skills that are needed in making sure the patient is taken care of and the Dr. always has everything needed.

LEADERSHIP

I was given the opportunity to train two other Dental Assistants. I have been on Safety Committee with Advantage Dental. I am Radiology Certified. I was lead Assistant on all our Full Mouth restorations.
