  • Provide high-level operational and administrative support to the CEO and help enforce our mission to empower survivors of domestic and sexual violence as well as support the values of Quanada: inclusion, compassion, equality, service and acceptance.
  • Coordinate and facilitate staff, board, and funder meetings (scheduling, food, space, technology set-up, taking minutes, etc.)

• Began with Yoh as an on-site Human Resource manager for contract labor force at Harris Broadcast Division. This role then transitioned to a work-from-home role when Harris was sold in 2013 and I worked on other accounts under the Yoh program.

  • Accounts have included McKesson, Sony Pictures, American Water, IMS Health/ IQVIA, Owens and Minor, Discovery/OWN, Heinz and others.
  • For each account, duties included, but not limited to:

-Onboarding specialist- Handled onboarding of new contractors/employees, background checks, I9 verifications, making auditable records/files for each contractor, orientations, first day instructions, etc.

-Managed weekly payroll for Yoh contractors- this included monitoring hours being entered on time, approved and then paid out to workforce each week and submitting off-cycle check requests for those who entered time late or had payroll errors.

-Coordinated with hiring managers and recruiters on open positions, submitted candidates, scheduled interviews, develop pipeline of needs and candidates to fully staff and maintain a steady workforce for each client.

-Maintain and update SOP for each client on sharepoint as well as training and audit records for each account.

-Work closely with each Program Manager to identify needs of the account, improve workflows, assist with Quarterly Business Reviews and present these to the clients, and ensure the Yoh moto of “We do what we Say” was met for each contractor, manager and HRBP.

  • Work also included data entry into different Vendor Management software programs such as Fieldglass, IQNavigator, and SAP; monitoring contractor end dates; Exit interviews, manager surveys, unemployment claims, worker's compensation claims, counseling to current contractors when needed.
  • Also attended local job fairs, spoke at local technical institutions to develop a pipeline of candidates, held open interview sessions at the IDES office and developed a contractor referral program to obtain referrals from our own contractors. Implemented a training program to create new pool of candidates for manufacturing positions in Quincy with JWCC workforce development center and Harris BCD.
  • Established strategic partnerships with external organizations, expanding program reach and impact.
