I am a Marine Corps veteran that started my career in aviation by being assigned as a 6337, Aviation Electrician for F-18's. I have a wealth of knowledge in aviation mechanics with a specialty in avionics and interest in composite work. I haven't worked on helicopters outside of school, however, I would be very interested in learning more of the mechanics, as well as piloting. Willing to get training and new certifications (FCC, PPL, etc.). Currently employed for a German aerospace company in Saline, MI; looking to relocate closer to Saginaw and Midland, or within a 50 mile radius. That being said, I am willing to meet anywhere for an interview and/or facility tour. I am willing to relocate for the right fit for myself and my family.
I am a professional avionics technician with solid experience in diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of various equipment, with a strong focus on team collaboration and achieving results, adapting to changing needs with reliability; skilled in troubleshooting, electrical systems, and mechanical repairs, ensuring operational efficiency and safety. I am known for practical problem-solving, effective communication, and steadfast work ethic. When I have questions, I am not too proud to ask. I am huge into education and I believe there is always something to learn.
I am a trained avionics tech, but I do have experience in pneumatics and other aircraft repair (thermals, valves, ACMs, etc.). I did well in my composites classes in A&P school and am extremely interested in branching out and learning all I can, in particular, the painting and composites on the aircraft, of which I did very well in those particular classes.
