I have experience in multiple fields and can adapt and learn just about anything. I keep calm in tough situations, analyze problems and come up with best possible solutions to complete my job. I need very little supervision once I grasp the way things are done, and in gerneral I just love to work.
Executed job according to plans and line out employees depending on their position to complete tasks on a daily basis. Wrote daily job reports as well as other paperwork required by office, including time sheets, received material/parts. Scheduled inspections and trucks as needed. Also trained our laborers in pipe laying or operating equipment depending on their interests and when positions became available.
I created this company because I felt that I could not advance with my previous employer prior to beginning this venture. I began as a landscape curb installer, which included basic slant, curb, and mower style curbing, also did decorative curbing including natural rock and other stamped and colored styles.
I eventually moved into general landscaping on my second year which included sprinkler installation, lawn and zero scape, basic water features, wood and vinyl fencing.
Midway through my second year I also expanded in to flat work concrete which included basic grey and colored stamped.
I closed down to move to Salt Lake county, which is where they moved to and I felt it was more important to be close to them to help my ex-wife raise them, it has been a great decision.
I drove the van with another employee to jobsites assigned by the owner. We installed 5" k-style, 6" kstyle, half round copper, box gutter, built the downspouts with a bender for 5" gutter, used prebuilt bends for 6" kstyel, used prebuilt bend for halfround downspouts as well as various styles of gutter chain.
Also installed fascia, drip edge and wedges where needed. As well as the occasional siding projects the owner would line us out with.
My job here was to setup pipe according to plan drawings for the welder. This including cutting pipe with a pipe torch, cleaning it, beveling it and pipe fitting.
I was a shop welder which included arc and mig welding, wither dual shield or flux core depending on what the plans specified. I was also a fitter when welding was completed and there was no welding for me to do. this included using a shear, grinders and acetylene torches to cut the steel to specs.
This is where I learned to install gutter. I learned 5" and 6" k-style gutter hanging as well as half round copper. This company also did commercial gutter installation with heights of up to 70 feet on ladder and on man lift sometimes on uneven terrain. Installed drip edge and fascia. I also learned to build custom miters as well as used prebuilt box and strip miters. We also did leaf guard and heat tape installation during both summer and winter conditions.
