• Assisted the licensed anesthesia providers in various settings that included but are not limited to surgical operating rooms, Interventional Radiology, Radiation Oncology, and Magnetic Resonance Imagining with patients of all age ranges.
• Provided support for routine surgical cases by assisting in the preparation and maintenance of patient equipment and anesthesia delivery systems before, during and after anesthesia.
• As the first point-of-contact, performed high level maintenance on anesthesia equipment.
• Clean,d sterilized, disinfected, stocked, ordered and maintained the routine anesthesia equipment and supplies.

• Checked, calibrated, zero balanced, and assured proper function of appropriate equipment (e.g., oxygen analyzers, pulse oximeters and mass spectrometer, Arterial/Pulmonary artery monitors, EKG, temperature, blood pressure and transcutaneous monitors, pressure infuser pumps, blood and fluid warmers).
• In conjunction with department administrative staff, identified all equipment within department with appropriate label; assist in tracking patient charges; file anesthesia records; inventory supplies; work with central supply department to assist in re-evaluating stock levels of supplies and equipment.
• Assisted licensed anesthesia providers in the acquisition, preparation, and application of the equipment and supplies required for the administration of anesthesia to patients.
• Prepared and maintained patient monitoring devices (ultrasound equipment, Glide scopes, bronchoscopes) and restocked supplies in the Anesthesia workroom and operating rooms.
• Provided support (in intubation, insertion of IVs for blood/fluid warmers, arterial lines, and placement of central lines) in anesthesia for routine and complex surgical cases.
