Three general responsibilities of a Licensed Challenge Director are recruiting and retaining families, preparing and leading a licensed program, and organizing and completing administrative tasks.

RECRUITING AND RETAINING FAMILIES

  • Created outreach plan with input from SR and fellow Directors.
  • Promoted outreach events and other Classical Conversations events via CC Connected in Events, social media outlets, email groups, morning assembly, and other outlets.
  • Hosted Open Houses to provide and opportunity for potential families to view programs.
  • Kept parents informed of all available resources.

PREPAIRING AND LEADING LICENSED PROGRAMS

  • Reviewed on-demand Academic Orientation material and attended Community Leader Orientation.
  • Attended practicum and invited families to attend as well.
  • Entered family information into CC Connected as soon as their application is accepted.
  • Ordered all printed guides.
  • Hosted parent orientation.
  • Purchased and provided required lab materials required for seminar each week.

Home Educator since 2017

We began our homeschooling journey when our daughters were in kindergarten and 5th grade. Since taking the leap of faith, we have been blessed to be able to be very involved in their education and allotted them a better quality of life. I accepted roles in our CC Community as the needs arose. Each opportunity helped us with the following year's tuition as well as helped me to grow both, in knowledge, and as a person.
