As a babysitter I learned to communicate with children and address their needs. I encouraged kids to engage in house chores and used positive words to lift their spirits.

As a tutor, I helped the students find their strengths and showed them to use it to their advantage. I taught chemistry and maths, for which I tried to use everyday examples to help them with their problem solving skills. I broke problems into smaller portions. Students encouraged each other to boost each others confidence. I focused on developing a healthy, competitive environment.
