Amaya Rodriguez

Life Church's Youth Ministry focuses on building relationships through small groups. Small group leaders are encouraged to get to know younger students, connect with them outside of church, model, meddle, and motivate.

At the beginning of the school year, I assisted the teacher with setting up the classroom and planning room to create an organized and welcoming learning environment. My responsibilities included making copies, filing papers, organizing instructional materials, and preparing bulletin boards. I also helped set up visual aids, equipment, and classroom displays to support the teacher’s lesson delivery and enhance student engagement.

Worked several USF Women's Basketball games and gained hands on experience in marketing and game presentation. I supported marketing staff in setting up the in game giveaways and promotions, selected fans to participate, and assisted with on court activities.

I periodically volunteered to prepare food boxes for underprivileged families, helping to ensure they had access to essential resources. In this role, I utilized strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively convey important information to client families, fostering a respectful and supportive environment.
