I am an accomplished Performer and Coach with a strong foundation in Dance and Performance, complemented by a degree from Arizona State University. I studied Performance and movement as well and took classes in Business studies (marketing and management). As a proud Arizona State University alumni and former ASU Spirit Squad member, I bring a blend of athleticism, creativity, and engagement to every performance. My experience includes teaching dance, choreographing routines, and coaching gymnastics, all while fostering teamwork and discipline. With a passion for performance and a commitment to excellence, in business and coaching I am eager to see what the future holds, as well as explore ways to positively add to the new spaces I enter.

I started coaching gymnastics under the mentorship of Head Coach Bambi Olesiuk at the age of 16. I started coaching 3- to 6-year-olds and progressed to teaching and choreographing for the team girls within a few years of working at Medical City Gymnastics. I would come up with drills and activities that enhanced my students' gymnastic skills and mobility.
As a Black woman with natural hair, learning to style and maintain my hair through braids and curly styles has always been a passion of mine. In 2019, at 17, I started learning to braid hair on others and opened my company, Mayabraidss. I have gained hundreds of hours of experience braiding, as well as gained lifelong customers who have stated that they leave my chair feeling beautiful and refreshed.
Engaged and performed for ASU fans with dynamic and entertaining choreography, executing complex tumbling and stunts as a flyer and side base. Represented the athletic department for teams like football, basketball, volleyball, hockey, baseball, etc. I attended dozens of travel games, hundreds of home games, and community engagement events. I got to choreograph for ASU Spirit Squad and danced alongside ASU dance teams during halftime routines.

Choreographed routines for advanced high school students that improved rhythm, mobility, and understanding of choreography. I gave students advice on auditioning, taking classes in the dance industry, and helped with confidence and presence as a dancer.
I auditioned and worked professionally in the dance industry in Los Angeles, California. I did photoshoots, modeled and did commercial work under the representation of Clear Talent Group.
Performed in the halftime show for Super Bowl LVII. Trained for a month prior with rigorous hours and learned advanced choreography.
