- Led design and development of heavy-duty diesel engine pipes, hoses, CCV hardware, heat shields, and oil pans for North American market, ensuring compliance with performance and durability requirements.
- Supervised CAD model development and drawing documentation (PTC Creo, GD&T).
- Developed component/system level FMEAs, verification requirements and test plans. Responsible for procuring prototype parts, carrying out tests, analyzed and documented results, and performed design reviews.
- Worked with suppliers to develop and implement quality improvements for service of life for components.
- Collaboration with operations to improve design for manufacturing and aftermarket.
- Collaboration with supplier to develop a product that meets design for manufacturing while still meeting end-user requirements.
- Led cross-functional teams with international colleagues to ensure successful completion of project milestones within designated time frames.
