Neurological/ neurosurgical patient focused care with traumatic brain injuries, spinal injuries, brain tumors, strokes, migraines, and various other medical/ surgical conditions also involving cardiac comorbidities due to majority of patients being on telemetry monitors.

The care established involved specialized neuro head-to-toe assessments, pre/ post-op management, EKG interpretations, safe medication administration, collaboration with patient families/ interdisciplinary teams for appropriate goals/ plan of care, client advocacy with therapeutic communication, and management of many types of medical devices like external/ enteral fixations, braces, and collars.

Assisted in the training and mentorship of new nursing staff members, contributing to a positive work environment and high-quality patient care, prioritizing patient safety.

Provided mentorship to nursing students/ new gradyates during clinical rotations, fostering professional growth and development.

Partnered with an RN preceptor to give care for cardiovascular/ cardiovascular surgical clients. The types of comorbidities included heart failure, MI's, arrhythmias, cardiac device management, post-op heart valve replacements, and post-op coronary artery bypass graftings.

Independently cared up to 4 patients managing client prioritization, electronic medical record handling, and therapeutic communication between patients and medical staffing.
