• Level II trauma center where I was charge RN, preceptor and resource to my peers. I often work in triage as well and can recognize critical patients based on initial assessments, past medical history and vital signs. I have been the recipient of two SPIRIT awards for exceptional care provided to patients.

• Travel contract in Columbia, MD. This hospital was extremely busy, seeing around 250 patients daily. This ED taught me to adapt quickly, ask as many questions as I can, learn fast and be as helpful a team member as possible.

• Experience as a triage telehealth RN who could also provide home cares for patients who had concerns about their health but wanted to avoid and ED visit. I developed clear communication, refined my listening skills and learned a lot about how to clearly deliver health information to patients.

• Used critical thinking skills to work as a charge RN, triage RN and primary RN. This was a level III trauma center and primary stroke center.

• Initially my work here began in Same Day Surgery. I transitioned to the ED after a little over 1 year. This was a 12 bed ED that served many surrounding communities as well as the tourists who traveled to the state in the summer.
