• My current primary duties and responsibilities include transportation of unaccompanied children in Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Customs and Border Protection custody to over 150 authorized shelters across the United States.
• I am responsible for taking custody of these children at Border Patrol stations, Port of Entry, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement offices across the United States. I am responsible for escorting/transporting them by comme4cial airlines, charter flights, and fifteen passenger vans to designated Health and Human services/Office of Refugee and Resettlement locations when instructed by this agency. While performing this duty I am responsible for verifying valuables, funds and personal property of minor children and family units.
• I am responsible for ensuring that unaccompanied children and family units are medically cleared for travel by reviewing a health screening form clearing people for travel and by also ensuring any medication prescribed to children and families follows them to their final destination. I am also responsible for verifying their identity with the information inside of A-files by reviewing the Notice to Appear I-862, Warrant of Arrest, I-200, Notice of Custody Determination, I-286, List of free legal services, I-618, and Information for Travel Document, I-217.
• In addition to reviewing this information I am responsible for interviewing unaccompanied children and family units to verify that the information in this A-file is the same information that is assigned to the child and family that I am escorting to designated shelters. By verifying, name, date of birth, and country of citizenship, I am able to accept custody by having Border Patrol Agents, Office of Refugee Resettlement employees, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers sign and I-216 (transfer paperwork) accepting custody of unaccompanied children and family units and escort them to shelters, temporary staging facilities, hotels, or to their country of origin as instructed by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
• In addition to these duties and responsibilities I currently am assigned to conducting Domestic Repatriation Movements (DRM). This duty involves traveling to over 20 Immigration and Customs Field Offices to take custody of family units that have been ordered removed/ deported from the United States by an Immigration Judge. This duty involves staging them to designated airports on the day of their removal. These assignments require working over 30 continuous hours with other assigned government contractors as well as working alongside Deportation Officers.

• Enforced facility rules and regulations while maintaining a safe environment for juveniles and staff.
• Interacted with juveniles in an effort to reduce tension between them and maintain a peaceful atmosphere within the facility.
