Summary

For 17 years I built teams, led change, and coached leaders inside some of the most complex operational environments in healthcare. Then I became an individual contributor for the first time, reporting to a brand-new manager who had never led anyone before. I watched it happen in real time. The missed feedback. The stolen growth opportunities. The goals that existed only on paper. That experience didn’t break me. It clarified everything.

The Leadership Gap isn’t a metaphor. It’s a system failure, and it’s costing your organization more than you know.

I work with executives and HR leaders who are ready to stop promoting people into leadership and starting building leaders on purpose.

Keynote Speaker - The Leadership Gap

Job overview

Most organizations don't have a talent problem. They have a Leadership Gap.

In this keynote, Amber Morrison-Kaiser exposes what happens when companies promote their best people into leadership roles without preparing them to lead.

Through data, story, and hard-won truth, she names the unintentional harm caused by untrained leadership and gives every person in the room something specific to do about it.

Audiences leave changed. Executives walk out with a business case. New and untrained leaders walk out knowing exactly what was missing from their preparation, and where to go nex
