Supported the School Based Dental Program as the Dental Assistant assisting providers chairside in a classroom setting along with working on our Mobile Dental RV. In charge of ordering and keeping inventory, calling to schedule patients, arranging schedules and appointments on a day to day basis and help with DA coverage in the clinic at other locations when needed. Completed additional administrative tasks such as data sheets, rosters, and patient charting, and communicating with the students families.

Assisted chairside in the clinic setting. Set up for visit, assisted provider during the appointment, patient charting, and scheduling next appointments.

Instructor for weekend dental assisting course, for student to learn the basics of dental assisting during a 10 weekend time frame. Completed check offs with students for chairside assisting.

Assisted teacher with the Montessori Preschool, starting with after hours in high school but then grew with the school and worked for a few years while in college. Assisted the head teacher with individual activities and lessons. Provided support on class field trips and worked with the other teachers to provide child care from infant - kindergarten. Helped school director with administrative duties such as filing, answering phone calls, communicating with families, and janitorial duties.

Worked with the fourth grade group during after school and summer care. During the school year, I ran the fourth grade classroom and summer, co0taught with 2 other YDPs. Lessons ranged from mathematics, art creations, science projects, and athletic activities.
