Welding Experience

  • 2010-2012, I was a fire watch and welder helper where I assisted welders with base metal prep, fitting, and grinding. I also on occasion would help with welding while I was learning. I worked at a company called Force Corporation and we did turnaround jobs in various chemical plants. This allowed me to learn valuable information about welding and learn the basics of welding in the field.
  • Aug 2023, Current, I currently weld with my students in the shop and show them techniques that I have learned over the years.
  • 2023-Current, I also assist my husband’s company in doing welding repairs on heavy duty equipment such as light towers, excavators, and trailers. This allows me to practice welding outside of work and learn more techniques as well.
  • In my spare time, I do practice welding at home. I purchase pieces of plate to cut and weld on. This allows me to work on my cutting skills as well.
